Large digital clock

The clock is designed for displaying of real time "HOUR:MIN" in the interior. It is possible to interconnect up to 32 clocks into the system of uniform time display using RS485 serial link. One of clocks may be configured as so-called "master" clock. This clock transmits the messages on actual time in regular intervals, which are displayed on all clocks in the system. In case of serial communication fall-out, the clock switches over to internal oscillator and after approximately 5 seconds from communication fall-out, the display of actual time continues but a colon separating hours and minutes is flickering slower. The clock may be installed on any straight surface by means of angle brackets fixed to the side walls in swivel way. Bracket allows 360° rotating the clock around the longitudinal axis. This enables rotation of clock into desired position. Supply voltage and serial interface are connected through the connectors at the rear side of clock.

Setting of time can be carried out very simply using the IR remote control RC403. After pressing the ?P<P" button the first element of clock starts to flash. The desired time is selected by gradual pressing of the numeric buttons. For example, to obtain time 14:39 it is necessary to press sequentially buttons ?1“ (the second element starts to flash), ?4“ (the third element starts to flash), ?3“ (the fourth element starts to flash), and ?9“ (the first element starts to flash again). If display shows desired time, the setting of time may be completed by pressing the ?P<P" button again. After setting the master clock, the time of all the other clocks of system is changed within app. 1 second.
