Over-current protection
Over-current and thermal relay NTR25PDS is used for monitoring and protection of three-phase alternating motors against the overload. Feeding leads of motor pass through the measuring transformers located in the device. Device measures the current in every phase and the resistance of motor thermistor. Measured values are compared with set parameters and when conditions are met, device either switches the contact of relay off, or it warns the operator on increased overload of motor through the LED. Device makes possible to measure the alternating current up to the frequency of 1 kHz. Measurements are displayed on the three-digit LED display, while the selection of displayed value is controlled by means of pushbuttons. The operator may set parameters of protection for given application using the display and four-button keyboard. Device contains the galvanically isolated serial link RS485, which allows connecting several protections to the monitoring computer through the serial bus.
